We stumbled upon Krishna residency whilst on our search for staying at Myladuthurai on our way to Koothanur Saraswathi Amman Temple. It was a walk in booking & the front desk personnel were very co operative. they showed us a couple of rooms & we chose the family room with a Queen bed & a Single bed as we were a family of 3. Situated close to the town bus stand, it is centrally located. There is a Krishna residency restaurant that serves Tea,Coffee through the day. Room service can be ordered, The rooms were neat, the towels hygenic & the bed and AC were satisfactory. Since we stayed only 1 night, did not use any other services, they might have offered.

I had to stay overnight at Mayavaram to visit nearby temples. I stayed at Krishna Residency (less than 10 mins walk from New Bus Stand and about 10 mins Auto from Railway Station). The front office staff were polite, the room was neat and clean including toilets, the night sleep was excellent as there was no noise. There is a pure Veg restaurant (Saravana Bhavan) right next door (prices there are on higher side for a small town but quality is good). Hotel location is very good. There are small shops and Pharmacies near by. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because the AC was hard set and it was cooling less than my preference. Mayavaram is generally humid and therefore I prefer around 20 Celsius whereas the hard set was around 23 Celsius. Apart from that this is an excellent place to stay and I would think the best in Mayavaram.

The hotel was decent and it's being renovated. The staff were courteous, the hotel is strategically placed in busy commercial street with all amenities near by. Family friendly hotel. Once renovated this should be better.

Usually for past 5 years ( except 2020 ) i used to stay in Hotel Pams ,. As hotel Pams is undergoing renovation work , they suggested to stay in another hotel of the sae group ie HOTEL PAMS RESIDENCY . . I stayed their with my wife from 26/10/21 to 28/10. It is really very good hotel , where in they are maintaining the hygienic condition , which is very essential & that too considering COVID . Neat bed sheets , neat & clean room& toilet .. Apart from this very co operative / supporting staffs from Security level . Location is also good .

Visited Mayiladuthurai in late January 2020 and stayed for less than a full day at Pams Residency. Positives – (a) clean, spacious room (b) proximity to the railway station (c) vegetarian restaurant within the hotel premise. Negatives – very unpleasant and horrendous experience booking a vehicle for temple visit. I had clearly indicated and confirmed the number of passengers and the pick-up time. The vehicle never arrived. When I questioned why, the immediate response was accusatory – that I had not confirmed my plans!! And when I countered that statement, the staff’s answers were far from convincing – (a) it was just a flat tyre and the vehicle would be there in five minutes (b) the hotel knew there was a problem meeting the commitment and that they had been scrambling to find a replacement for the preceding two hours. Absolute lack of transparency; no remorse. Total lack of ownership and resourcefulness. After a delay of 45 minutes, I decided to take care of things on my own. As a tourist on my first visit to the town, I could arrange an alternative transport within five minutes!! – something an establishment that calls itself a business hotel couldn’t do in more than two hours’ time (if what they said was true). Disappointing and shameful. The fiasco ended up ruining my temple visit plans. Could not visit the temples that I would have liked to. My suggestion to visitors – stay there by all means BUT NEVER trust the hotel when it comes to travel arrangements.
